A family tradition

Locke Equipment and Associated Mechanical Inc. are owned by the Locke family, Tim Locke (Locke Equipment) and Jolynn Locke (AMI).

Locke Equipment was founded in 1973 to provide custom engineered products and services to service the steam generation and gas transmission industries. Technical solutions for problem solving or system upgrades for steam generators along with emissions reductions are our principle service.

Our family owned business provides nationwide services ranging from combustion safety equipment and emission reduction projects to boiler and code alteration projects. Our family has proudly been serving the Kansas City metro and beyond for over 25 years. Our ability to maintain tight schedules and provide rapid response is a testament to our company's dedication to customer service.

Associated Mechanical Inc. (AMI) led by JoLynn Locke, has earned membership in the WBENC and the NWBOC - two of the nations most respected organizations for women owned businesses.

Locke Equipment is a proud member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (A,S.M.E), a professional body, specifically an engineering society, focused on mechanical engineering. The organization is known for setting codes and standards for mechanical devices.

Locke's boiler repair and retrofit crew have earned the A.S.M.E code stamps "S", "U" and the national board stamp "R".
